Does it irk anyone else that pharmacists give you the third degree?
Pharmacists are trained for years. They are meant to ask questions for your safety. This is so they can recommend an appropriate product for you. We have so much addiction to Nurofen Plus due to the codeine content. The ibuprofen in it will affect the stomach lining. They are trying to protect you and are actually doing their job. Thats why Nurofen Plus is behind the counter, and the pharmacist is in charge of that sale. Its their discretion whether they make that sale. A doctor would not just give you a prescription for whatever you ask for; in the same respect, the pharmacist is checking the suitability for the use of the product befy selling it to you.
