The perfect plan. Alas none exist. But there are some pointers. First - answer yourself why you want to make a career in coding? Why not in fine arts or law or management ? Because looks like you are about to START coding, then how are you sure it's the best thing for you, without even getting into it. Next up, try to find what you like - and take 1,2 or 3 or as many years it takes for this. Algos, Databases, AI, Apps, Websites - building what gives you orgasmic pleasure ? (Pardon the analogy) Now keep doing it. Over and over and over and over again.
