Why do fans imagine Kushina viewing Hinata as this "perfect little?

That sounds like a pretty general statement your asking there. Almostas if its assumed a majority of fans would consider Kushinas perspective regarding both girls to be perfectly aligned w/ their own biased and preferred sentiments. When that couldnt be further from the truth. Kushina isnt a mouthpiece for the fandom. They like to assume her idea of perfection would match their own. Or that shed mirror certain parts of the fandoms sentiments, when in factKushinas way more likely to be open towards both girls and less likely to judge them by some preconceived standard or sexist moral measurement. Its almost likefans and especially guys, fail to take into consideration how Kushina, herself, acted when she was growing up. lol First lets discuss this.. (Preference masquerading as fact) That entire sentiment of Hinata (perfect little angel) kissing Narutos ass and being nice to him since she first laid eyes on him is reason enough for guys to prefer her. She strokes their ego and is seen as less threatening. Hinata lives to serve and is inspired by Naruto, but mostlythey see her as that one safe virgin girl wholl never leave them. Naruto is her only concern in life and Hinata never strays from her affections. No other man / rival (i.eSasuke) captures her attention unlike the hero of the series, Naruto Uzumaki. The most famous words out of her mouth being N-N-Naruto-kun. Hinata is willing to die for Naruto as obsessed as she is. If Naruto doesnt exist then she wants to stop breathing. Yet Naruto was pretty indifferent towards herromanticallyfor ages. Sakura, on one hand reminds them scarily of real girls they found stuck-up, or difficult. Cause I have definitely seen and received comments regarding how Sakura rubs salt in wounds too close to home. Naruto fell for her before the series began and worked to express his love to her for years. The man was dedicated, but Sakura was in love w/ another. Naruto never held it against her yet the fandom damn sure does. No action is too great or admirable, because unlike HinataSakura isnt romantically in love w/ Naruto. At leastnot to the point shes willing to give up on Sasuke Uchiha, and there lies the problem. The poor girl is lovely in series and attracts more then her fair share of men yet she never gives any of them the time of day. Beyond being caring, professional and friendly. They genuinely or bizarrely seem to think, Sakura wasnt worth is and the worst option in general. That she was selfish, manipulative, and played w/ his feelings. All the while being blind to how Naruto tried to manipulate her, play w/ her feelings, gaslight her, and made promises that Sakura wasnt comfortable w/ after a while. Despite doing what she thought was best for her team mate and friend. She never forced Naruto to do anything for her. He did it out of his own free will in hopes Sakura might change her mind, but ultimatelyto fulfill her happiness. Since to Naruto it was worth it. Some see Sakuras choosing Naruto after she had affections for someone else as cheating or utterly despicable; despite thats what she couldve done if she finally finished emotionally growing up. Narutos actions arent that different from Hinatas towards him. Striving for love. Narutos just more honest and obvious; while Hinata lingers in the shadows and hopes Naruto will one day notice her. lololol And the fact parts of the fandom view the excessive violence for comedy trope as infringing on their ability to self-insert. Naruto for them is suppose to be a power fantasy, but seeing a girl who the main character likes hit them whether for valid reasons or not, leaves them angry that anyone might make Naruto accountable for something. They fail to realize the manga doesnt mirror the same comedy as often, and that Studio Pierrot did that to make Sakura less likeable and comedic. Naruto is never truly harmed in any of these scenarios and when he really gets beat upyoud know it. This opinion seems to be more of a western preference then an eastern one. Our lovely dangerous ass Kushina~ This woman, Narutos mother is first introduced to us during a genjutsu or spiritual trip. Naruto is having a bad time but Kushina shows up to bring in some levity and understanding. When she first encounters him she literally knocks the shit out of her own son. (What a greeting * *) Kushina and Sakura are constantly compared w/ each other as far as temperament go. If Kushina had been around to raise Naruto, hed be getting knocked out left and right. That would be fine though cause shes not a potential love interest and the fandom would bury their heads in the sand. lol This woman is also known to literally reminisce about beating the shit out of boys who called her a ~clears throat~ T-O-M-A-T-O. Naruto gets the heeby jeebies, but it aint that different from how he reacts when he first finds out Sakura now had the ability to pulverize his skull. Hed better watch his mouth. Next, Kushina leaves Naruto w/ a little bit of wisdom. Imparting some motherly advice thats entirely sincere yet equal parts dramatic, desperate, and maybe tinged w/ some bias. Kushinas advice is coming from a womans pov. If she were livingHinatawhose extremely shy, timid, reserved, sweet and likely to stutter, would be liked by Kushina, but not maybe seen as ideal. Hinatas feelings would be seen and I think, Kushina is likely to fallback and observe. Admiring the tenaciousness of this quiet girl yet also not questioning it either. Allowing the pieces to fall where they may. Hinata is weird in Kushinas book all the way through. Not only thatshe lacked confidence, she lacked fire and passion for almost anything not related to Naruto. In some mothers books thatll fly, but I doubt Kushina would believe that to be enough to satisfy her son. Or even be fitting for the long haul. These two are complete opposites. Narutos own perception bleeds into this, as well. Viewing Hinata almost on the same level of Shino until she tried to speak w/ him a couple of times. Seeing her as a strange girl who fainted excessively. Leaving him perplexed and a bit creeped out. Narutos mother is kind and caring, but it would definitely take time and effort to build rapport w/ a girl like that. As we seeHinata is the most unlike Kushina. I see their conversations being polite yet fizzling quickly. Sakura Haruno is a different story. Shes pretty, spunky, charismatic and a bit of a know it all. Kushina would find Sakura equal parts fascinating and frustrating, because it would be like looking into a mirror. An albeit altered one. Kushina explained to Naruto how she treated Minato during their academy days and it wasnt pretty. Not unlike how Sakura viewed Naruto during that point. She found him annoying, loud and someone constantly vying for her attention. Concerning Kushina, Minato just wasnt her cup of tea and its easy to imagined the shit she probably talked to him then. Especially sincehe was persistent like Naruto, but a bit more held back. Theres also discussion of Minato acknowledging Kushinas greatest (self perceived) flaw.her red hair. That kinda cemented or blossomed those feelings for Minato to develop. Naruto literally mirrored this in part 1, when Sakura complained about her most disliked featureher forehead. She was picked on for it, but unlike Kushina, who reacted w/ violence and aggressive behavior. Sakura curled into herself. Naruto engages w/ her and lifts her spirits by beautifying w/ lovesomething she tried to hide. Sakura adores him but sadly, this is undermined by the fact she thinks Naruto is Sasuke. So, all those bubbly, earth shattering feelings are redirected to someone else. Sakura in Kushina eyes would be a girl who needs time to grow up. I doubt shed be hypocritical and judge her by behavior that she herself expressed in youth. Theres understanding here and compassion. If not a bit of deja vu and some headaches. They share some compatibility, but differ in other areas. Of course Sakura likes Sasuke, but Kushina wouldnt hold that against her either. Naruto likes Sakura and thats acknowledged. Even better here cause Naruto wouldnt have made such a stupid mistake w/ his mother around. Hed go about it differently. Kushina would just shake her head and try to not to remind herself of Obito, Rin and Kakashi. Shed invite Sakura over for dinner, admire her manners, and personality. Yet mostlybe happy shes working to make something of herself to make a difference in the long run. Kushina might view Sakura as a girl who needs some direction or as a daughter she never had, or as someone who gets under her skin. Head up in the clouds running around blind. (for a while) More likely Sakura is a constant in the household then not, but running her mouth will either have Kushina laughing or teaching her to be mindful. (Pushing her towards her son) Not bad at all. lol Lastly, Minato even during his short time around Sakura glimpsed how she mirrored his wife. Kushinas brand of affection is very apparent in Sakura. That face tells of a man whose encountered Kushinas fist and wrath before. He maybe her husband, but hes still a fallible human who does stupid shit. If Temari right hooks Shikamarus stoic ass.then Minato isnt getting of that easy either. Naruto also knows Sakura means no harm and it isnt narratively portrayed just as violence or outright meanness. Sakura reacts because despite the situationNaruto is lying calling Sakura his girlfriend. Which loops back to the beginning of the series when he use to call her his girlfriend in front of Konohamaru and/or other villagers considered them to be dating. Even Minato appraised her and considered Sakura to be a possible daughter in law or partner for his son. After expressing his curiosityMinato seemed cool w/ it. If thats the casethen Kushina would be ecstatic! This would never happen. This is parts of the fandom projecting on Kushina. lol Youd get this instead- (A nice group pic.) or this (Kushina egging Naruto on about what she thinks is an argument w/ Sakura. Calling it a love spat. Immersed in it like it was a play by play in Road to Ninja. Obviously difficulty isnt always a bad thing to Kushina. Showing even then she preferred Sakura to Hinata.)
