What is the required vision to become a pilot?
In the U.S., only military pilots need to have perfect, uncorrected vision. Pretty much anyone else can fly as long as their vision can be corrected to certain standards. For a third-class medical (primarily private pilots) your vision needs to be correctable (e.g., glasses, contacts) to 20/40. For second- and first-class medicals (commercial pilots and higher) your vision needs to be correctable to 20/20. The U.S. no longer disqualifies pilots based on poor depth perception, as that was found not to have a detrimental effect on peoples ability to fly. Other countries have different medical standards for pilot qualifications.
